Max Wolf Senior Photos at Jack Hill Park, Elk Grove CA.
Max’s senior session was a great reminder that simple really can be enough.
We met at Jack Hill Park in Elk Grove, just minutes from his home, which made everything feel easy right from the start. No pressure, no overthinking—just walking the park and using what we had around us.
He kept things clean and classic with one outfit the entire time—khaki shorts, a light blue pullover, and white tennis shoes. It worked perfectly with the setting and gave everything a natural, laid-back feel as we moved from spot to spot.
The overcast skies ended up being a win for us. That soft, even light made every location work, whether we were in the tall grass, along the walking paths, near the creek, or by the bridge. We were able to keep things simple while still getting a lot of variety just by moving around the park.
Toward the end of the session, we headed over to the baseball fields—something that’s been a big part of Max’s high school years. He’s played infield for Bradshaw Christian, so it felt right to include that piece of his story. This is where he added his United States Merchant Marine Academy sweatshirt and brought in the baseball, tying everything together.
Max will be heading to Kings Point, New York in the fall to study Maritime and Logistics at the United States Merchant Marine Academy, and it was really cool being able to capture both where he’s been and what’s ahead in such a simple, meaningful way.
Max’s session is a great example of how keeping things simple can still tell a full story. One outfit, a meaningful location, and a few personal touches were all it took to create a gallery that reflects both his high school experience and what’s ahead.
Max, congratulations on your graduation and your next step at the United States Merchant Marine Academy. Wishing you all the best as you head into this next chapter.
