Pregnancy flies by, but maternity photos give you the chance to pause this season and hold onto it a little longer. My maternity sessions are calm, encouraging, and thoughtfully guided, designed to celebrate the joy, anticipation, and quiet beauty of expecting a baby. This is a season worth slowing down for, and my goal is to create images that feel natural, timeless, and true to you.
You don’t need to know how to pose or worry about what to do — I’ll gently guide you every step of the way. We’ll focus on soft movement, beautiful outdoor light, and simple moments that highlight your connection, your growing bump, and the excitement of what’s to come. Nothing is forced or overly posed, allowing your personality and this beautiful season to shine through.

I offer two maternity portrait packages — a Basic package starting at $165 and a Deluxe package. Each package includes personalized planning, a fully guided outdoor maternity session, and a professionally edited gallery with digital downloads and product options.

The ideal time for maternity photos is typically between 28–36 weeks. Your bump is beautifully defined, and most moms are still comfortable moving around outdoors. If you’re unsure about timing, I’m happy to help you choose what works best for you.

All maternity sessions are photographed outdoors at a location of your choosing. I’m happy to recommend locations around Elk Grove and the greater Sacramento area, or we can choose a spot that feels meaningful to you.

Absolutely. Maternity sessions are a wonderful time to include your family and older children. We’ll capture a mix of images together and individual portraits of you so your full story is documented.

If the session needs to be rescheduled due to inclement weather, we will try for the first available session date. I will send you a notification within 12-24 hours of the session date if I see a reason to reschedule. Please note I do automatically reschedule sessions if there is a more than an 80% chance of rain.

Some families have specific locations in mind for their session, However I do recommend several location suggestions and offer a location guide to help you select your location.

Locations over 30 miles will incur an additional $25 for every 15 miles over added onto the session fee.
